Motors turning backwards randomly

Hi All,

I'm hoping that someone can help me here as I have just about exhausted my knowledge.

I have the following hardware KK2.1 , Spektrum AR8000 receiver, Spektrum DX9

If I turn on my Xmitter and then connect the battery on my quad, the #1 motor will turn CW, if I then disconnect the battery and start the motors again the #1 motor turns CCW. This is not limited to the #1 motor but appears to happen randomly across all 4 motors.

Does this have something to do with the order in which I turn on Quad and Xmitter?

I just cannot figure this out.

HI mate never power the quad first , you must always power transmitter then quad , i need more info on set up
transmitter need to be set up as aero no mixing
The kk needs firmware from steveis1,8s1pro not HK firmware
What ESC have you got are they flashed with simonk or BL heli these are the better ones to have BL heli is a must with multistar motors
 
Other than this I really don't know.
Make sure your receiver is connected correctly. If just one you might flash the ROM on your ESC.
