Motor placement concerns, FPV build. Aerodynamics

Hey! I am on my way of putting a list of components together for a build. It will be a 300mm Frame and what I wonder is how the motor placements matter in terms of flight handling and from an aerodynamic point of view what would benefit the different flight styles.

On the frame I am considering to buy it looks like a 250 sized frame like the Blackout or ZMR250 except the back motors are elevated higher then on the front pair. It looks like a distance of 5cm (2") between the front and back motor pairs in Z-axle.

Do you think the nose down in higher speed would be more performancewise in handling since the angle from the upcoming flight track hits on two seperate propeller sets? (back motor gets air that have a larger distance from the airstream that hits the front propellers)

Or how do you think it would benefits/drawbacks?

My style to fly will be agile and mostly in woods, fpv racing or precise photography.

Hope someone have experience on different frames and their designs effeciencies.

Cheers
Dave

Hi mate on frames like the FPV flip from hoverthings , and the 250 racing frames the hight between motors does not affect the way it flys , All quads will tilt there nose down when flying hard , the mini mamba had tube arms so the motors can be tilted so its faster in forward flight , but must run the nase32 as this board allows the tilt on the motors in the set up so it will hover level
The deadcat frame flys strange due to the 2 front legs being longer and at a different angle from the back legs , so this frame is not as stable unless you know the maths needed to tell the board in the program edit where in space the motors are
So as long as you go for frames where all legs are the same length and angles it will fly ok
The ZMR 250 is ok the legs are very weak this lets it down , but there is a guy in the Uk that now make carbon replacement legs that are better ,but cant take 6 inch props only 5x3 which is the normal for a 250 frame
