Mini 2 vs. Hubsan Mini Pro

The Hubsan Zino Mini Pro looks awesome on paper. It has obstacle sensors, a larger sensor, longer flight time, and even a Follow Me feature, all that for a slight price increase against the Mini 2. But I've been seeing a lot of bad reviews about the Hubsan, although they do give regular updates that help improve the flight experience. I'm just annoyed by the voice prompts as they sound like a foreign just learning to speak English. LOL! In any case, do you think that the Huban Mini Pro has overtaken the Mini 2 as the best sub-250 drone or is the Mini 2 still king in that department.

I have a Mini Pro and am just getting to know it. I have a better impression so far than that given in many of the reviews. The videos should be of better quality than they are at present which I'm hoping is mainly a firmware issue. I am becoming more and more impressed with the ZMP. Not as 'polished' as the Mini 2 as yet, but lovely to fly and a good camera. Now if only Hubsan would fix the v. dark RAW photos! I'm sure it wont take long.

For me, the Mini is the better choice in terms of camera quality. The video quality is crisper in the mini 2 compared to the Husban Zino.

The Zino might have a higher spec camera, but the proof is in the results. If the Mini 2 gives better results, then that is the drone to go for, IMO. I do like my Zino Mini Pro, despite its quirks, but I've not owned or used a DJI product.

If anyone is thinking of buying a Mini Pro or has just bought one, I think my conversations with 'Oxfordshire Man' might be of benefit. I think we ironed out a few basic problems with this drone. I've had mine for well over a year now and althougth it is a bit quirky, it is a good camera drone, IMO. Zino Mini Pro quirks.

I've mentioned Oxfordshire Man before. His Zino Mini Pro days have just come to an end in a strange way. This is the second one he has had that has flown a little distance and then completely failed to come back. The first was over the sea, off Madeira, so was not recovered. Has anyone else had this strange problem? Mine has been fine although I don't use it much.
