Check out my low tech idea.
That sure doesn't look like good flying weather. I would stay inside and fly too.I haven't tried it outside yet but it flies stable and without the beeper going off constantly, guess the noise of the quadcopter isn't the right frequency to set it off or something, and in a far room with the door closed it beeps when I whistle so hoping it works well outdoors also.
Will post my field test results in a few weeks when it warms up here because this is what we have right now and as you will see, it's dangerous just walking thru the park.
