Looking to get my first small, drone/quadcopter!

Hey folks,

I'm looking at getting a drone or quadcopter (not sure what the difference is), probably from my local hobby shop. I would prefer hobby grade over toy grade. I want it to be small enough to fly inside the house. Does anyone have any recommendations on a make and model?

Also, I have a moderate shaking problem in my hands. I'm able to control a RC car without much issue. Will I probably be OK with a drone?

Thanks!

Maybe try a cheap or secondhand one first I’m new ish to quads found it quite easy to fly around a field then brought a indoor fpv racer a eachine qx95 was around £45 quid and its a whole different thing flying around my house but practice makes perfect we all have to start somewhere just ask questions check out AliExpress they sale a lot a quads and parts

Buy the cheapest toy with the most batteries. Fly it only on grass, to get the most time out of it. Then once you got an hour or 2 of actual up in the air time.
Then I would suggest looking at building your own. Cheaper than having to buy another then another. If you got the parts then there is no waiting, just a little tinker. ;)

In fact, Jackson has just linked to a sweet little deal from bangood on another link in introductions. It was an inductrix size but with Tx & fpv goggles for $50.

Tx is the short abbreviation for a Transmitter - the hand held controller.

You'll learn to fly better without auto hover.
