Looking to buy a quadcopter.

Hi guys (and girls). just registered so hi to all. looking to buy a quadcopter and have done some research and a little browesing. what i want, nothing to big but be able to do quality filming. my question is..... i like the look and the reviews of the dji phantom but it seems that the only small camera they al use on quadcopters is the gopro hero range. i currently use a drift hd ghost 1080p for filming when i ride and race motorbikes. id like to use the same camera tho as prefer the quality of the drift and dont want to use multiple cameras for different jobs... is this possible?

It's definitely possible to use your Drift with a Phantom, but you probably have to get creative and/or use a GoPro mount. That's how this guy does it:


The only thing I'd be concerned about is weight. I read that the Drift is 5.9 ounces. I just weighed my GoPro3 and it's only 2.6 ounce. But the GoPros before were a lot bigger, so it probably won't make a big difference.
