A team of us have built our own drone with the following specifications:
1. NEEWER 4-Axis HJ450 Frame
2. DJI Naza-M Lite Flight Controller & GPS
3. Spektrum DX8 Transmitter
4. 1.5 MW video transmitter
5. 0.001 Starlight 3d-DNR 650TVL CCD Mini Camera
6. Remzibi v1.79 OSD​

Our team plans on using the drone for a fun pro-liberty project.
1. If you live near or around Manchester area
2. Can commit to regular practice sessions
3. An expert drone pilot

Hey GJH105775,

We would like to use our drone to record police officers during traffic stops. Recording police officers is constitutional, and there are a number of court cases defending that right including Gerick vs. Begin (http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ht-to-videorecord-including-at-traffic-stops/). There is also precedent here too, where Daniel Saulmon from California used his drone to keep an eye on police officers (http://rt.com/usa/168164-daniel-saulmon-drone-camera/). It's all very legal, and we would like to do the same.

Sounds good. One thing; they may try to get you for recklessly flying over traffic, or too close to them, other than that you should be fine, just get a nicer camera, but the audio will be almost impossible unless you use a directional wire mic that could hang from the bottom.



On a side note; if your into gun rights like I am you may be interested to know that you can now open carry is all 50 states, the law they passed for gay rights is worded to allow you to open carry regardless of state laws. Liberals will be regretting that haha.

We have 2 cameras on the drone. An HD pointing straight down, and the CCD Mini Camera. We should have some good footage. We won't record any audio because the state law on wiretapping is fubar.

LOL on your side note. I totally agree. It sets a precedent for sure. We almost have constitutional carry in New Hampshire, but most likely the Governor will veto it. I doubt there are enough votes to override it. We'll see. That's the big politics news in the state this week and next.

Haha yes, I don't see how a state can get rid of constitutional carry, even making people get a permit (I find that a good thing) is restricting to the right to bear arms, the people against bearing arms COMPLETELY ignore statistics, and base it all off feelings.
