Little Lost Noob

Victory, at last!

I got my Taranis figured out (the necessary stuff), programmed, installed a new camera, Replaced the VTX, replaced the FC ( I soldered!! =P ), cos I accidentally cracked the plug receptacle on one side on my Wizard. I also got my Doms all figured out and working!! Doesn't look much like a Wizard anymore but I think I am okay with that.

Oh yeah, I'm totally keeping the ZMR250, lol and giving the kid a cool little 200 that I have instead to learn on, when she is ready to move up from her cheapo.

Think I will go do a couple of packs for now. Crusader just arrived, yeeeeeeee!! Now, if I can just learn to fly like Joshua Bardwell! =D

I want to thank you guys for all that you have done to help me get started in the h0bby!! I truly appreciate it more than you know! <3

Here is a pic of all three of my babies, set up and ready to go! I took the GT2 out for her maiden flight and HOLY GAWD!! Doc, you weren't kidding about a Ferrari! That thing is ABSURD!! My Wizard feels like a tricycle next to it, lol.

Anyone know why a Lumineer LUX FC will not connect to Betaflight after flashing?

I really liked that one... At least they are pretty inexpensive, if I want to get another one. At least it wasn't the GT.. How many quads does one typically lose when starting out?? lol

lol!! I have seen that one before. In my opinion, eachine really stepped up their game with the Wizard... I have 2 racer 250s in a drawer somewhere in pieces, that have never even flown.. lol I also have a ZMR250 and a little generic 220 torn all to pieces... Damn LUX FC is giving me fits! I'm prob gonna just rip the lux out and replace it with with an SPR f3 and build my first frankenquad from all the parts!

You know, if you have goggles and transmitter, for around $200 to $250 you can build a pretty bad ass quad.
Actually, I have Dom3s, Eachine 007s, with 4 VTX, Foxeer cam Runcam, PDB, 16 ESCs, 3 FCs, 4 frames, a Radiolink AT9, 3 Flysky i-6, Taranis x9d plus.

I also have a quite bad ass Quad. The thing is, before I go losing and/or tearing up a Ferrari, I want to build, drive a Volkswagen and get good at it first.

My best quad is a custom GT2 210 Villain stretch, 5.2mm arms with DYS 30A DShot 600, - HGLRC F3 V4 FC, PDB, OSD, VTX, Sony Super Had, naked FrSky X4R and LDPower FR2305-2600kv motors.

Well.. my self... I just go out and build a sick quad for the first time, and just crash it into my head the first time I fly it...

But I did even better today.. and I didn't even crash into my head this time....

My problem now, is that I can't get any of my FCs to connect to Betaflight or Cleanflight. I have reinstalled drivers on 2 PCs and they are both just saying manual port and I can't get to CLI in DFU mode.

I am trying so hard not to laugh. I'm like the biggest noob on the planet and have never hit myself.

Go ahead and laugh... I did.. I didn't put the footage of me hysterical. But up until I crashed into my head.. I was doing really good. First time flying and I was in Air Mode no level. I had expected to crash horribly... AND I was doing a bunch of flips... After the 1 flip I did a bunch.. but felt it didn't fit with the vid. I Roll fliped. Pitched flipped. I even rolled one way and than another in one shot. Of course I was not moving. I was in a hover.. but hell, I never did that before, I just did what I saw people do on youtube, and what made sense to me...

I'm just starting in Acro mode. The DRL Simulator has worked very well for me.
Acro with air mode enabled? Straight acro mode cuts the throttle at the bottom of the stick and you relinquish control of the quad and it falls. Air mode maintains control and allows you throttle punch and control.

Never used a sim... Refuse too..
