Linux-powered quadcopter acts like a smart shuttlecock - LinuxGizmos

Am I the only one who thinks that this is currently moving way too slow to catch on, and would you not be better off with an actual ball lol.
 
Yeah. Haha. It actually looks pretty useless. I think it is just using collision avoidance and avoiding the racket. Probably just infrared. The response time seems slow. I could be wrong though... I did t read the article and only watched the video.
