Landing gear for Syma X8C with Xiaomi Yi...?

Hello, I'm new to the hobby and to this forum.

I have bought a Syma X8C and attached a Xiaomi Yi action cam to it. The quad can handle the weight pretty well and the footage from the camera is amazing but I'm struggling to find any landing gear that I can use where the legs aren't in view!

I have tried the standard Syma landing gear, plus the wide/long DJI phantom landing gear, as well as a put-it-together-yourself carbon fibre set, but all of them were visible in the shot.

Other than using a narrower lens setting or editing them out, can anyone suggest another landing gear or an easy modification I can make?

Thanks in advance :-)

Hi Jackson, that's good plan. Would that make it more difficult to fly if there was more weight at the front? Here's a few pics of the current set-up with the standard legs plus a photo of the carbon fibre ones. Unfortunately I snapped the DJI legs whilst trying to bend them out of the shot! Doh

Maybe study this vid for some clues. No legs showing for him.

You can see that he is favoring the front with his mount. It also seems that his camera rides lower than yours.
