LAANC Permissions

I am awaiting my first drone, a dji mini 2. I discovered I am in controlled airspace B,, at my home. Di I need to apply for LAANC permissions each day I want to fly at home, or are permissions for a longer time period?

That's a good question. I went out to the FAA web site an d looked at the process for applying for the LAANC Permission. It says how to do it, but doesn't say how long the permission is in effect. Typical government program run by some bureaucrat not knowing the left hand from the right hand.

Found out I already have AIRMAP on my smart phone. Couldn't figure it out then or now. I went out to that web site for Certifying Drone Pilots. I might as well learn to fly a manned plane and get that license instead, for all the crap they put you through simply to fly a drone while standing on the ground. Leave it to the government to make a mountain out of a molehill. Next they'll try to regulate Falcon Flyers and other birds.

I already took the Recreational UAS Safety Test and got 100% on it. I have a TRUST Completion Certificate from UAV Coach, whatever that's good for. That web site you indicate is for the same thing.

That AIRMAP app is fine, except there should be a PDF User guide to show you how to use it, rather than sitting there and guessing what to do.
Actually there is instructions. So, I in haste concluded incorrectly.
