Kk2 reflash

Hi is there anyway I can tell what version of kk2 I have before I buy a flashing cable?

Yes as you powder it up it will show you on the LCD display but its not on there for long, most come with hobby king firmware which is not the best , Steveis1.8s1pro is the best one , self levelling works and most quads fly well on default setting on this one
Use lazyzero software to flash the kk

Thanks, it's v1.6, I think this is the latest. Is it possible to reflash the kk2 using stevies? If so, where can I get it from?

Download pc software I linked you to (lazyzero) once you install it open it then select all KK 2.1.5 firmware then in the drop down list your see Steveis1.8s1pro ,click on it then hit the flash tab thats it all done

If you can get hold of the 10 pin lead as well as the 6 for the KK your be able to flash your own ESCs

Steady, I need to walk before I run lol. I'm struggling to download Stevie's, at the mo. I'm not very hot on PC's but I'll percervre.

Did you install the multirotor flash tool I linked you too ,if you have once the software is running plug the usb in to pc and kk ,now find all firmware for kk in the drop down box your see Steveis1.8s1pro click on it then click flash the software will do it all for you

Well I've finally made some headway, 2 flat batteries, no crashes and a stable(ish) hover.
