JXD 510G JXD510G X-Predator question

This quad will take off and fly straight until I make a turn. won't spin in place. Bad gyro?

This quad when turned with the throttle stick will turn but wants to fly backwards after the turn or at least not go forward much especially into the wind. it will fly backwards at full speed with the right stick (mode 2) neutral. Yes level ground and gyro adjusted.
With full forward trim when you take off it will just drift slowly back but, when you turn it will go backward even faster and it can't be trimmed because it is already trimmed fully forward.
Any ideas?
