Just A Simple Question

I have not tried it, but I have seen the question (or similar ones) asked a bunch of times before and the answer is always the same. Most people ask if they can use whatever transmitter with their Husban or if they can use their Husban transmitter with some other copter and all the answers I've seen given is that the husban products use a proprietary protocol and not one of the standards.

The one you posted won't work either. You need something that runs either DSM2 or DSMX based on this info:

I can confirm that the Blade Nano QX is not compatible with the Hubsan X4 controller. However, the Proto-X is. Between several of us at work, we have all three. The Hubsan controller will bind to the Proto-X (which helps because the controller the Proto-X comes with is so tiny and hard to hold and use), but not to the Blade Nano.
 
Hi Harry , the way to look at it is if you buy a good transmitter ( it will have to be the orange clone MM put forward or a second hand spektrum) your have it for long time there is a new DX6 out so the old DX6i will be about second hand , it will fly more models you can shake your wallet at , i started with the DX6i and still have it i also have a DX9 only because i fly scale helis , a good 6 channel transmitter will give you 2 spare channels for add on to a home made quad like retracts lights etc
Also its makes things fly better as they have better gimbals , if you get the RTF blade nano it still does not come with a good transmitter ,you really need a computerised programable transmitter , so if cost is a problem then the orange will sort you out , and once you have this then you can buy BNF which are cheaper , so your not wasting money
 
If I Bought a TBS Gemini and built a Dji 450, could I operate it from the same TX ? Would this be possible and what would the best choice of tx?
Is this on the same lines as Harry's question ?
 
Hi mate all you need is a receiver some FCB will act as receiver for Spektrum and futuba , i have a DX9 and fly align trex 500 pro dfc , 480 jet ranger, 700 quad 450 quad , the heli has 3gx so that works as receiver the quads have receivers but the 700 can use the kk2.1.5 as a receiver ,the ranger has a copter 3x2000 and this works as receiver too

When you buy the Gemini it doesn't come with a TX, if I did get one I would buy a suitable TX for it And also one I can use with other quads.

Now for this to work each quad would have to have a compatable receiver for the that type of TX.
Think I'm getting my head round it. Lol
 
Hi mate yes thats right , but not the hubsan in the pic , so i have a spektrum and use spektrum receivers or FCB that work as a receiver for spektrum
