Hi Guys,

I have a h8d and for a couple of days, it worked great. But now after maybe 2 minutes of flying, the battery needs a recharge. At first I thought it might be the battery itself, so I bought a brand new battery and proper charger, but the issue still exists.

Any ideas?

It could well be that the motors are going, these have a very bad reputation when it comes to longevity.

The H8D still uses a 2S system and unfortunatly motors are strictly indentical to the H8C.
They are known to have short duration life due to the extra stress on them with the 2S voltage. I strongly advice:
– to check before each flying session if all all props are spinning freely by hand
– to install some ball-bearings (MR74 format) to replace default bronze bushings
– to add time to time a drop of sillicone oïl into bearings only
