Is this OK/Safe to do with LiPo batteries?

I want to connect two lip batteries in parallel to double the amphours, I know I won't get double the flight time with added weight, but even a 30% increased flight time will make me happy. I've never tinkered with LiPo batteries due to their risk of fire. Is it OK to hook up two batteries in parallel to get double AmpHrs?

PS, first post here, so I may as well say Hi while I'm at it. Just bought an "Eachine Wizard X220S FPV Racer RC Drone" with extra 5s batteries + chargers.

Welcome to the forum! Two same size, same brand, same age packs in parallel are a great way of increasing your amp capability and your run time. Just make sure you disconnect the y-harness and charge them separately

What size as anything over about 2200mah is going to slow it drastically as opposed to say 1300 - 1500. It will be sluggish & make acro flying hard unless you adjust the pids to account for it. But yes its safe. Just check the cells after flying & balance them before next flight.
