Is my drone too heavy?

Up your battery voltage. 2S is not enough voltage to spin the motors quick enough to produce the lift you need.

move up to 3S.

Excellent, I have a 3 cell battery. That's good. So, how many grams should my quadcopter weigh in order for it to fly on a 2S battery?

Them motors are too small to lift that kit.
You need at least 1806 motors to lift that 250 frame with the 3S battery.
1306 are for micro"s around 90-130mm frames.

Oh that makes sense about the motors, okay. What about propellers? If all things stayed the same, would bigger propellers help?

You have a 250 frame, get a couple 4S 1500 mah 75C lipos. I've seen it a million times - guy spends a crapload on a bunch of 3S then one day tries a 4S. So much better that the 3Ss sit gathering dust.

RENOV8R hit the nail on the head.
I did that. But going from zero to 4s is a bit harsh. Grab a 3&4 now you got a 2s.
Those esc's you orderd are OK for 4s batteries. Start low & work up. Once you on 4s you will find another use for them batteries, goggles etc etc.
Get some Dal 5045 BN or regular props.
IMHO they are the cheapest best prop for learners. I had a zmr250 that could fit 6" props but nowhere near the selection there is for 5" now. My 2p on battery size is 1300 - 1500mah. And if you ever bust that frame try a 220mm the props will fit.

Besides hobbyking. Is there another site I can look for those types of batteries? Also, is there a good site for cameras as well?

So, for right now I'm using a 3s 4000 mah 10c battery. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the battery. But, when I get the drone up in the air, a lot of he times it'll just plummet. As if one of the motors just stop. But, when I restart the quadcopter's flight everything is normal. Until again I get it up in the arm a bit.

Hey Nazty..............now you have to much of the wrong kinda battery. I would guess that that 3s, 4000mah must weigh at least 3 to 4 times as much as the 2s battery you were using. Also, your "C" rating is way to low for that kinda quad. As RENOV8R noted you should be using something like a 4S 1500 mah 75C lipo or even a 3S 1500mah 50-75C battery.

It is pretty heavy. I currently don't have any other battery besides the original battery I was using. I just ordered the one that RENOV8R suggested.

Hey Nazty.........that should get you going quite nicely..............or naztily as the case maybe..........you're probably gonna think it's a different bird.
