Indoor quads/kits with carry capacity

A little about me: I am a newb to the field imo. I have flown an indoor standard heli, one of the $20-30 units with counter-rotating blades. I have flown an indoor/outdoor quadcopter and wrecked and rebuilt it to only a little success. I have a fairly small house, but I have decent an open air area that I could fly in about 8ft x 15ft x 3-8ft. On to my question.

Are there any or what is the best indoor quadcopter as far as carrying capacity and stability? What I would want would be either a kit where I could create the frame (I already have some carbon fiber square hollow rods I could use) or a commercially available quadcopter that has decent carry capacity so I could increase the battery size if I wanted to, or play around with flying with small dangling loads.

It would be fun to build my own but if there is a kit that you would recommend, keep this in mind: I cant/dont want to do my own programming, I can solder, I would prefer the kit to be forgiving and versitile meaning the main components can take a few rough impacts and I can increase battery size/blade length without too much hassle. My budget is definitely less than $100 for either option. For the kit option the $100 would be for the "guts" of the copter and controller the parts for the frame and lets say battery would not be in the $100. I have a controller from another copter, the indoor/outdoor one, but I dont know if I could use that or not.

I know its a lot to ask, my main goal is to be able to fly this thing around my house and like I said, play around with flying with loads.

Eventually I would like to get into FPV racing, but that will have to be when I have more expendable income.

To be honest, for $100 you arent getting anything but a toy grade quadcopter in that price range....Based on those dimensions of indoor space you can fly in you will only be able to fly maybe a smaller micro quad that has a built in camera such as maybe a hubsan X4 of a syma X11....There are more but you can get an idea of the size you would want.

For something outdoors you have a few choices with the best option being the SYMA X8C models...probably the highest pay load capable toy quad you can buy in the $80 to $100 range....You also have the Tarantula X6 but the newer versions seem to suck which is sad because the early versions were pretty nice flyers with a decent carrying capacity.

You can get a bigger quad than a hubsan x4 size with a 2mp camera if you wanted in the $50 dollar range...The SYMA X5C-1 is a really nice indoor or outdoor flyer and the NIHUI U807 is a bit more powerful...Either one a good choice to get you started and both are available with a camera...FPV options are also compatible with either model if you wanted.

Thats about your best choices for indoor or outdoor in your price range or less.
