I would think that shaped wire landing gear would be light , durable, repairable & shock absorbing S

I can see how four legs, where each leg has two nylon parts with a piece of, say 14ga. spring wire in a 'U' shape in the middle, would remain fairly light, but also absorb the shock of landings.

One nylon end would be attached to the frame, the u-shaped spring would be oriented horizontally, and the bottom leg portion would be attached to the bottom of the 'U'.

I also used some pex pipe bent into a C shape for a hex I did. Great shock absorbtion however on harder landing it did bounce and sometimes flip.
