Hi, I can now sell these little guys. They are cool and ready to be built. It will take me two business days to build and I can make them in black, yellow, red, and blue. The base mount is made from plastic and the monitor mount is laser cut from aluminum. If you like the mount and would like to have one I am asking $50.00 plus shipping of $6.50. I can be contacted here or at my website longrangerc.com.

Congrats on the first sale! The design and quality look amazing. When using the monitor, do you fly strictly by what you see in the monitor, or do you use line of sight and the monitor as an aid?

I can fly both ways. Sometimes it is hard for me to trust the monitor but I am getting better at it. I fly about 12 flights a week so for me it is getting easier. I still refuse to take my $1,500.00 copter and do the stuff I am seeing others do like buzzing things. To me it just isn't worth it.

Nice! I've never flown with a monitor, but I'm not sure how focused I could stay on it. I have attention span issues! Sometimes with goggles, I'll even take them off and fly line of site because I get distracted by the shadow of the copter on the ground. That's why I like to have my props in view of the FPV camera to keep me oriented.

I know what your talking about. When I did fpv from my raptor 50 helicopter I would get orientation issues. I have learned to trust the quadcopters because they want to stay level. If I get scared for a bit I just let go of the controls and it levels itself. After I get my self together I continue flying. It only takes a few seconds for me to get my bearings. I like the screen because it allows me to keep an eye on the quad without having to move goggles out of the way. Another big issue for me is that I wear glasses, LOL. big problem when trying to use goggles.

That looks like a very well designed bit of kit, well done fella. Please let me know when you can ship to the United Kingdom and I will be please to be the owner of one of these.....:) :) :)
