I have a problem with linking my remote control to my radio receiver, can someone help me?

So recently I bought my first fpv racing drone, the Bfight 210. I bought it from gearbest with BNS FLYSKY AFHDS 2a receiver. With this, I bought the FS-i6s radio transmitter. I wanted to pair these two but it didn’t work. Firstly, I had to put the receiver in code mode, this went well and the light started flashing. Then I had to bind the remote control to the drone. The drone started flashing slowly, which meant the pairing was successful. However the transmitter did not say it was connected and kept searching for a rx bind. When I stopped the search on the transmitter, the light on the receiver stopped flashing and stayed on. I have tried everything to fix this problem but nothing has worked. Could someone help me with this problem?

Annoying fact about Flysky transmitters: they don't tell you they bound to the receiver, even when they did. They just stay on that binding message. Turn the transmitter and receiver off, then back on again, and I will bet you find that they are bound.

Yes the flysky can be very confusing but several times I've found that what I thought wasn't bound, when it actually was!!!

Yes like Rick says you should bind them, turn the radio off, then turn the receiver off. Then power them both back on and they'll stay bound.

It wants you to power them on and off in a particular sequence and for some reason it won't work unless you do it just right.

Flysky are simple & never had a problem
Myself. The a8s does not give anything back to the tx but the led tells you it's bound. It can be a bit fiddly with having to hold the bind button while plugging the lipo in, but a pair of tweezers helps.
Are ppl doing it in the right order.

1 hold button on rx
2 apply power
3 hold bind & power the tx.
4 unpower rx.

Best to have the tx powerd & unarmed before you plug any lipo into the quad.
Shizzle can happen if you don't.

The bind screen will go off on FS tx except with the a8s. No return telemetry.
But the bind screen will dissappear. I must have bind the flysky rx/tx at least a hundred times & never any hassle or comebacks with about the 30 quads I sold over the years. I recently had the cash to buy whatever I wanted but stuck with FS/turning brand as never had any problems. Or dropouts in the ranges I fly.

Thanks for the help, but it still doesn't work. When I power the tx again after binding, i won't say it's bound. But the light on the tx indicates it's bound. The levers on the tx also don't work

On the screen of the tx does it show a battery power level under its own power level, top right corner.
What model is your rx, is it the stock one you got with it. If so, the old pwm are not compatible with latest fcb's. (as you said the stick don't work) you would have to select pwm in the configuration tab so the fcb can communicate to the rx properly.
Ask a friend to make sure the button is pressed on rx before you supply power.
The press bind button or use the plug & then power tx. Then you must remove the plug or power off the rx.
If this does not work then yes you may have a defect with the rx. It would be worth upgrading to at least the ia6b then if that doesn't work send the tx back for a swap. That way you will have a better rx to use one you get it back.
I'm pretty sure mine was already bound on arrival. For a cheap tx/rx they are decent kit. If working properly that is.
