I can only fly when connected to my PC

Im using libre pilot and everything seems to work as it should the only problem i can only get the motors to spin whilst my usb cable is connected as soon as i disconnect from my pc all i can do is arm the quadcopter but i cant get the motors to spin
anyone know why this is?

its a mini cc3d. when i connect the battery the blue light on the front right flashes rapidly, when I hold yaw left for 5-10 seconds the blue light changes to a slow flash so i know its definitely arming
 
Is the throttle reacting correctly in the assistant software? Move stick forward and slider should move to the right and give you a positive value. Nothing's going to work if you have your throttle channel reversed. Also, and I might be wrong, but with the CC3D, I thought slow flashing meant it was in bind mode and rapid blue meant it was armed (opposite of what you're explaining)
 
Hahaha I had the same thing happen. No big deal, except my PC only has 1 USB port now. The other one is just an empty hole and I'm pretty sure the hardware is still stuck on the end of the cable.
