Then you should be able to solder the capacitor to the bottom side where you solder your battery connection to the board. The Long Leg on the capacitor is the Positive. I trimmed mine down as the legs are quite long.

Take a look at one of these, I have had it for a year now, the only problem I had is I charged it once with a 5A USB (should be 1A) input and it cooked the internal charging system in the camera, easy fix, Radio Shack external charger ($29), also bought 3 extra batteries ($3.99 ea / China ) video is awesome, have a Go pro as well, can't see the difference other than some extra bells & whistles on the GP.

looks cool but what is the transmission distance? I am hoping to find something that can transmit at least 250m.

If it's "wifi" you're limited to about 100ft. You also take the chance of "crosstalk" between your FPV and your control transmitter(both operate at 2.4ghz). Whether it's a standalone system or not, your FPV system should work at 5.8ghz.
