Humpty Dumpty's continuing adventures

After flying the spark for a while, I found Humpty Dumpty a bit of a handful.

Ahaha!

I actually picked this up when I wanted to make a really difficult geocache where the container was connected magnetically to the retaining wall bolt 15 feet in the air and you needed to find the tool first to get to it. I had a few extras and found that it's great to get to a treed quad within that range or to use to reach higher if you thrust it up if needed.

I used a pole saw. It has a lot of reach and lifting a quad off branch with the blade worked well. Not sure I want to add the saw to my toolkit

Later, Humpty went over a fence onto the ground. There was a big dog.

The dog was so happy to see me that I couldn't get him close enough for a photo with the quad. The owner picked it up for he. He thought that would have been a cool photo too.

I am fortunate to have no fences to worry about and when I go down, I just walk over, flip the quad over and resume flying (helps me get used to standing when flying FPV) so I tend to end up in the neighbor's yard. I got spooked at one point when I heard a huff and a wet and cold nose hit my leg and then realized the neighbor was walking his dog.

When his unleashed (playful) dog saw the quad he went nuts and was chasing it around (got footage) and of course it was when I was low on the battery, so I had to get him to case it out a good distance and then speed back to land and disarm before he caught up so he didn't try to eat it or get hurt by the props.
