How to do the wiring of my new drone

Hi, I have a naze32 flight controller connected to a raspberry pi with USB. The raspberry pi is sending/receiving data to/from naze32. The raspberry is connected to LiPo battery and the usb is enough to power the flight controller.
On the other hand I have 4 OPTO ESC. connected to the flight controller and powered by their own battery.
Im afraid of burning the raspberry pi or the flight controller when I connect the ESC to the FC.
I am attaching a "scheme" of my circuit. Could you tell me if it is safe and valid?

Those esc's need the full power of the lipo, not 5v through a bec. Power the naze off the 5v bec. You need a pdb with clean 5v & 12v out. No pdb, you will have to bunch the red & then all the black together. You are asking for voltage spikes doing it that way, which can kill your hardware.

Of course the raspi will fly on the drone. The raspi will act as a bridge between my PC and naze32, so it has to be always connected by USB to the naze32.

Including pdb. Like I said you could bunch the red wires together, same with black & put an XT60 connector on the ends. Crude but workable.

If your not using a pdb power distribution board, watch the zmr250 build videos by RC model reviews on YouTube. His build is without a pdb. You need to watch them as there are things you are not understanding.

Don't say I ain't got a zmr250, this applies to all, well most kwads. All you are using on that diagram is the 5v balance plugs.
Think about it. If all you needed was 5v you could just buy the biggest 5v battery you could find. The kicker is you are putting 5v or 7.4v depending on how lucky you were.o_O into a 5v bec & getting 5v out. You either study the diagram above & do some homework. :confused: Or you ain't flying.:eek:

I don't mean to sound rude but how old are you.?
I'm not that tech savvy. I do not own or intend to own a raspberry pi. Lol saying that I never intended owning an ftdi or Arduino. Mad,:confused: what snapping a USB socket leads to. Do you own a multimeter???????!? For the price of an esc, buy one with continuity test.

I understand you, but my drone needs to obligatory integrate the raspi+naze32 connected by usb.

The raspi is being fed with 5v. from a lipo battery.
The flight controller is fed by the raspi with 5v with USB.
The ESC are getting 11v. from the battery.

What is wrong with my diagram?

Sorry but this has made me laugh so hard it hurts. Everyone in work thinks I'm nutz. Does anyone know if he can interface the interface with an interface.

In your diagram esc's are powered by the 5v or 7v balance plug off the 3S lipo. through a 5v bec.
The main power lead is not in the picture. Why can't you just plug the fcb directly into the PC. What are you intending to do with the pi, in the air. (I'm laughing again)

the pi is runnig computer vision programs that decides the trajectory of the drone, and it sends movement commands to the naze32 via usb

IMG_20170621_225309292-768x1367.jpg this is how to wire the pdb, also is pins top & bottom for hardware. Clean 5v to power the fcb & camera or vtx if it runs 5v. Then 12v for vtx or anything that runs 12v on the top Then @the bottom is another 12v for leds but it's just another bec.
IMG_20160604_195601187-1024x575.jpg this was my first ever build. This is the next basic thing from bunching the wires together. Even this way, the system is open to voltage spikes. Those opto esc's would surely kill all hardware over time.
Without any resistors like I have in the top picture. The little green barrel shape thing. Esc normally have them on but can run without. But runs a risk of current backing up the system. Killing fcb or other equipment.

Folk's can't say I didn't try.
I have told you I have showed you but no you don't need a pdb. You don't even need anything other than 5v to fly your pi.
Well do it your way, whatever floats your
Pi, err boat.
