How much weight of quadcopter required to accommodate air drop system?

I purchased a universal air dropper system (shown in the link below) and I am trying to figure out what drone to buy to pair it up with. This air dropper is only 34 grams and it specifies that it's payload capacity is 1.6lbs (725 grams). It also states that as long as my drone can bear 100 grams I can incorporate this air dropper with it. Suppose I have a payload to carry that is 1lbs, how heavy of a drone would I require?

Hi it's not how heavy...... the question is how much lift will you need , most heavy lift are 500 size with low KV motors and big props , most are not quads most are hexicopters or octicopter as these will still fly if a motor goes down in flight

What size of a quad would I need in order to use the air dropper to lift something that is 1-1.5lb in weight? If there's nothing, then I guess I will look into hexicopters and other non quad drones

450 size frame at a minimum 500+ would be better , just remember it has to lift it's own weight plus what extra you add with the load on the dropper use ecalc.com to check if your set up will lift and for how long
