how are holy stone quads?

alrighty, just placed my orda :D now to kill 3-7 business days... thanks for your help everyone :D

i got the camera version of the u807 because i will mostly fly without camera but every once in a while i will do a bit of recording for fun, and since it was only an extra 10$ i figure why not :S

Ordered my U807 over a month ago............still waiting. Ordered my RadioLink At9 6 weeks ago...........still waiting. Pretty well done ordering from China.

damn man :( u used banggood.com ?

btw what you guy sthink of the baijong s1? i saw some people on youtube call it a u807 killer?

It just says shipped. There system is pretty poor, it's not like USPS that gives you the location of your shipment.
Did you order from the us direct option? Hoping that means its shipping from USA.

I don't like dealing with sites like this either but didnt see the u807 anywhere else. Being an amazon prime member whose been spoiled with free 2 day shipping 7 days seems too long, but 30 days+ is ridiculous no matter how you look at it!!

Btw is there any technical difference between the non camera and camera version besides the camera? If you take the camera off the camera version, does it become the same as a non camera version?

Hoping mine comes soon, especially since im planning to move to another state at the end of march!

god i really need to stay off the computer til it comes lol, i keep seeing u807 videos and its driving me crazy, then i keep looking at my order status and it says "processing" - i go crazy and check order status/shipping tracking a million times an hour whenever i order stuff online D: with amazon prime 2 day shipping it isnt so bad, but i feel like this ones gonna be tough!

Nope, no difference except the camera.

I ordered my last U807 (BNF version) from Banggood USA and had it in ~ 6 days.
im jealous!! :( why is it taking so long for ren?? its making me nervous, i need mine ASAP!! lol today is perfect day, not cold at all, not hot at all, no clouds and no winds....i need my drone !!!

woot just got an email saying it has shipped :D god i love my android phone, as soon as i get an email it comes straight to my phone and i got a specific notification sound that is a little longer than other notification sounds that goes do do dooo doo do odo dooo so as soon as i hear it i know its an email, then i see banggood has shipped :D :D :D :D

Yeah, DHL for me. And as I recall the shipping info was actually off a bit in my favor. It showed up a day or two earlier than expected.
Go figure.

I had one of the Holy Stone FPV quads for a short time. It sent the video to your phone via wifi. The video was tremendously laggy, making it absolutely unflyable via FPV. Also, it ruined the quality of your video, since you recorded from your phone. It wasn't some small amount of lag, either. It was between two and five seconds of difference between the movement of the quad and the video on the screen.

The quad was slow and unresponsive, though quite stable. That's not saying much these days, though. The "expert" mode did not give you more control authority. Instead, it inexplicably made it flip in whatever direction you pushed your left stick. Very weird, and entirely useless.

I ended up returning mine, and purchased a JJRC H8D, which I like better. It records on a card on the drone, and beams the video via radio to a dedicated screen, and not your phone. I get a fair bit of static, but it's still a lot better than the terrible Holy Stone quad. I'll note, though, if you get one, it's cheaper to buy the quad and the carrying case separately, than it is to buy them together, at least on amazon.

When I left a poor review, Holy Stone bent over backwards to try to please me, in order to get me to remove the bad review. They offered to send me a second quad, without having to return the first. They offered to refund the money without me needing to return the quad, as well. This is why the reviews are so good, while the product more or less stinks. They give things away for free in order to keep the reviews positive. I declined their offers, and returned the quad, and left my review up.

Just got a holystone 110" having fun with it. And getting better at flying it and am considering getting something better , mainly a more stable platform for a better camera. So guys what would be the next step up from this I believe it is the same as a syma X5? Thanks in advance.

I've got the Holy Stone 181c. Yes, I believe I read on here where @Jackson said they are the same as Syma, but not sure on the model comparison.

So far I like mine. Great little quad to learn on so far, at least when the wind is below 5-10mph. It's great indoors too as long as keep the speed on the lowest 2 settings.

My first drone is an HS400, this Monday marks a week of having it.

Not suited for indoor flying, uses a 7.4 2000mah battery.

Good to learn on. I got mine for about $63 so not too bad.

IMG_0417.JPG So,was looking At getting one of these after having my holystone 110 for a while. It looks like it has an easily removable battery. Anyone have any experience of this kind of machine?
