Hood for Coltroller Unit

Just getting into drones/quads via an UpAir1 quad and am getting the hang of basic flight maneuvers, BUT … not getting much use yet out of the camera in bright outdoor lighting conditions, can't see the screen very well. I have a hood that's about 5-6" deep but doesn't solve the problem all that well. Watched a YouTube yesterday where a guy in Florida had a hood that looked to be about 18" deep. Any idea where to buy such a thing? Google didn't help much.

Depending on the screen you might want to look into matte covers/filters that go over the screen I have a buddy who worked on optics at 3M and made covers that concentrate the screen light straight forward to sacrifice some viewing angle for brighter screens, not sure they sell it as an overlay but worth looking into. Personally use goggles strapped to my face so non issue.
