The antennas I made in about an hour a piece. For less than £4 each.

Apparently using 10 awg you do not have to have a wave trap. But it does have to be 0.4mm from the plate.

So this is what I come up with for 0.4mm off the ground plate.

I will have to test it on all channels & bands to see which is best. Same withe the omni. I have not got a printer so I had to dig on the info to draw a former template for 5.8ghz. If anyone wants the info I'll post it.

Now just toss those puppies on a spectrum analyzer and check the frequency response.
Oh, and some polar coordinate graphs of the radiation parameters would be nice too. ;)
