Please help. I'm trying to get more video distance with my hs700. I've learned of a mod online but wanted to ask some experts b4 attempting it. It's the only mod really for the hs700. It's the one where the guy swaps out the antenna on the remote and pulls out the antenna on drone. Any thought?

I've done this mod on a couple quads a few years ago and yes, it makes a big difference. Obviously the mod to the quad is easy, drill a hole and pop the antenna out. But for the transmitter, although a straight forward mod, you will need steady hands and good soldering skills. If not, it's really easy to render the transmitter useless.
