Help with Quad build

Hi mate it hard to tell if its a clone, if its a spot on clone then yes they will fit , but no way to know for sure , as for props The Phantom now uses self locking props so these come with the nut fitted to the prop and 2 are cw and 2 ccw , are yours like this

To install mine I push them on then tighten a screw on top of it, so no.

It flys directions relative to to you, so if it is facing to your left, and you push for it to go forward instead of going to your left(it's forward) it will go to your forward.

 WOW! That is awesome

I'm messing around with mission planner... Might setup waypoints and have it auto fly

I held it down and could switch between auto and manuel, will try tomarrow with a rope attached to it :D
But MY GOSH its scary when its on auto and its trying to go up on its own!
I know what you mean lol. I accidentally had a switch on my TX half flipped, and it reverse my throttle mid flight. I noticed it climbing a little too zealously, so i dropped the throttle to make it fall.... it shot up like a rocket xD.

Tested out auto flight this morning... First started with a string attached to it.. I was paranoid it was going to fly away, well to keep the string from going into the props i taped a rock to the string and then did not tie the string in the center , = flip over onto its back and hit the ground....:( Luckily I had also set the alt to 5ft in the setting of mission planner, I thought it was meters not ft. But I learned that it was ft from how low it flew on the field... It was so low and so slow that it did no damage!!! I removed the string and tested it out... It WORKED GREAT!
I hate to admit it but the GPS flys better than me  It was even moderate wind speeds since I was on a open field... Once I switched it back to manuel on my TX I had a hard time landing it because of the wind... So i think ill screw using the string and just test that I can swap between auto and manuel on my TX

Hi mate Glad your getting there , my wife is the same with her Phantom she will not test the failsafe( return home and land) she is worried it will fly away , some times you just need to have faith in your self , the important thing is with GPS make sure you have 100% signal if not dont fly this is why people have fly aways it goes to its last known GPS lock that may be 2 days old and 60 miles away

Plastic and nylon mix are stronger than plastic but suffer from chip very easy ,carbon are the best to fly on, no flex no stress fractures

Yeah, I agree with Holtneil CF is the best right now. If you catch them on something you don't have to worry about stress points that break during flight.

I have never seen 3 blade props in CF, though I am pretty sure you could find them.

RTL and AUTO mode work great! RTL seems to be fairly accurate, tomorrow if I have time ill mark were it takes off from and let you guys know how accurate it is, in the future I may make a review.
