Help with motor direction.

Hello all,
Can somebody help me, im confused, using the motors recommended for my first quad build HK Dart 400 the tread on the shafts of all 4 motors are the same direction.
I understand that 2 run ccw and 2 run cw, but wont the props undo on 2 of the motors, or am I missing something:confused:

Two motors have to spin CW with CW props on them, and two motors have to spin CCW with CCW props on them. If you have lets say you have a motor spinning CW and you put a CCW prop on it, you will get downward thrust as apposed to upward thrust. The bolt thread is usually the same direction on all motors.
It is hard to explain with text, but watch part of this video where they setup the motors.

Hi mate George is right most motors threads are the same just make sure you do the spinner up tight , But we have all had a spinner come off when we first started this hobby as for motor lay out its really easy on a quad the front 2 motors turn toward each other the back 2 away from each other So it works this way front left cw front right ccw , back left ccw back right cw , just make sure the blades are on the right motors and spin the right way and right way up watch this it may help I did this for BEN and it sorted his quad

Thanks guys that was a great help, but I have another question. Where do I pick up the power for the receiver, which I am waiting for delivery on a nearly new Spektrum DX7s system, would it come of one of the esc? if so where from.
Sorry for all the questions, but I am a complete beginner, and I think there will be a few more, before ive completed this build:rolleyes:

When you plug the receiver into the Flight controller you get 5v. The FC gets it from either the BEC or ESC depending if your ESC has it built in.
