Help with idea

Question. When connecting the fpv camera transmitter to the power distribution board do you use the 12v or the 5v out put for the transmitter. The camera is powered through the transmitter.

Read specs, it should connect to the balance plug unless it has an on-board step-down transformer. The voltage would be ~3.5-4.3

Hooks up to 12v. Has it's own regulator board. But the thing weighs 8grams too much weight and too big. Have to order a smaller one. But hey at least I have a spare for my next build.
