Help with first new build

Yes my wife does film my helis and finds it hard, she does not do a bad job , the newer googles from hobby king also have head tracking which is great if you want to look around while flying
But getting the angles takes practice this is the 3rd go

That sound great cant wait to see it , your get it right in the end just dont kick your self while your getting it right

Ok.. Im still waiting for components and one very important things we forgot.... power wiring AKA power distributon.... XT60 or E5 or deans or Bullet 3.5mm ??? or Hyperion Gold Connectors ?? or JST what i have on the stock bumblebee ESC.... i cant decide..... iwe got Turnigy 4 cell 5000mAh battery with 8AWG black - and red + cables without connector.... my escs probably will have no connector too and the motors got 3.5mm bullet.. so i dont know what should i do.... i want to solder the connector once and dont care about the rest, just pluging in and pluging out changing the componentsetc.. to be powerfull reliable and compatible....i would like to have the same connectors on everithing or atleast some converters....
Thank you for help and reply... next, after this problem gonna be solved i reflash the firmware of the KK 2.1.5 (with your help) and build an FPV system but that later.... now the power distribution, and firmware of the FCB...

Hi as for connectors look at the battery your be using, then match this or your have to keep soldering connectors on the batteries when you buy new ones

Thank you.
The ESC Proflight UK 30A simonk firmware just lost somewhere at royal mail so i got refunded and bought Afro ESC 30Amp Multi-rotor Motor Speed Controller (SimonK Firmware)

https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking...Controller_SimonK_Firmware_UK_Warehouse_.html

mostly i have everything delivered, now i am starting to building a quadcopter, but i have few concerns about multiple things...

1. at hobbyking site: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking..._Brushless_Multirotor_Motor_Built_by_DYS.html
the MOTOR PROP shaft is 6 mm CW prop adapter, I have 4 motor with the same CW prop adapter which could cause some trouble on CCW props... or not? i dont know...

2. I am not sure that my new quad will be not too heavy for flight especially the battery...

3. I have no idea how to charge and discharge the battery... i dont hav a lipoly charging bag fireresistant so i need to order it and wait for it...

4. the setup of the software on the KK board, need som guide or something...

Thank you for advice

Hi mate your be ok with all cw adapters just make sure they are very tight ,You need a lipo charger to charge at C1 rate this works out like this 2200mah at c1 is 2.2amps , if its a 3000mah its 3.0amps just put a point between the first 2 numbers and thats the amps , dont run battery lower than 3.2v a cell , when not using store at 3.6 volts a cell
as for the kk firmware you need a flash tool 6 pin one and reflash with steveis1.8s1pro

Ok thank you. i set it up but it seems like 3 out of 4 my ESC AfroESC 30A is beeping every 5 second and dont arm or spin any motor directly from the reciever... so i have only 1 afroESC what spinning any motor and the rest three just beeping and beeping every 5 second... i think i will buy new escs....

Hi mate try this first unplug all ESCs one at a time plug in to motor 1 pins and calibrate the ESC do this to all 4 ESCs then plug them back into the right motor pins and test , it may save you from spending out on ESCs you dont need

OK so i tried connect the esc to the KK 2.1.5 only white screen (lack of power???) so i connected the USBasp programmer too and the KK booted the stevis 1.8 s1 pro firmware how you adviced me.
I just discovered that when i powered the KK board from afro ESC (5V/0.5A) the receiver not received a damn signal (the led was illuminated so it was bound) but the KK shows only 0 at receiver test page however i move the sticks... only when i connected the programmer the receiver shows me correct numbers how i moved the sticks... i think its a power problem..
I tried to calibrate the esc full throttle - no reaction
I tried connect esc directly to the receiver's throttle pin and no spinning...
only one short beep every 5 sec...

I think they are shorted out or something..
But if he red and green led flashes for one second when i connect the power, maybe they can be reflashed or something.. i dont know...

I'am gutted.... I have NO LUCK with ESC...

first i ordered proflyghtUK 30A but somewhere on the post office they lost that. (dispatched 2nd of september, to this day (20.9.2015) nothing) i got the refund because they got out of stock.
second i ordered these afroESC 30A but they are broken.. (maybe i connected them wrong way into KK)

what ESC 30A can i buy to have
high refresh rate 400 Hz and more,
have BEC (5V/2A) to run a servo,
have simonK firmware,
be reliable,
have safety feature (against burning out etc...),
shipped whitin UK,
are in stock.

Thank you for your reply...

on that ebay page is: **LOW STOCK - PRICE WILL BE DROPPED ONCE NEW STOCK ARRIVES**

WTF, low stock... this esc is so popular ??

stupid royal mail.... i should have these a week ago or more but they lost it... i can't believe this happen to me...
How long i need to wait for first flight ??

Ok so when these ESC's will arrive and i install them, calibrate them to my motors and KK2.1.5 by holding the 1. and 4. button on KK and full throttle then after the beep idle throttle after the beep release the buttons... i'll do this with all 4 separately on one motor without prop.

After the ESC calibration what shoul i do, chceck the CW and CCW motor spinning direction and according to the motor layout on KK 2.1.5 set them up...

how to calibrate the gyro, the acc ???

what else i need to calibrate or set up to have most steady flight for aerial photography ???

where i should connect the servo for my camera tilt controll ???

Hi mate ok your order of set is right to calibrate sensors make sure its 100% level, go into sensor calibration screen and press calibrate they should they come up sensor calibration successful , then check all motors kick in at the same time ,if all is good then go fly
