Hello all... i am a noob in RC, so please be patient... I am building a quadcopter and want it to have a possibility to expand it in the future (GPS, Gyro, autopilot... etc..)
I have a Bumblbee-C quadcopter frame... THIS ONE. on hobbyking site
i`ve got ESC`s as well (ST20A ESC (500Hz high speed ESC )) I`am not sure with these ESC`s....
as propellers
This is what i need:
Brushless Motor: ST2812 (930KV) 4x, On manual with the frame they saying 3512 brushless motor, 930KV, 0.7A/11.1V OR compatible equivalent with M3 screws 16mm x 19mm space between them...
Bumblebee Quadcopter Flight Controller OR similar equivalent in that price range... (with GPS, capabbility, Gyroatc atc...)
Transmitter 6-channel or more not a expensive, not fancy etc.. just ordinary not so expensive...
Receiver 6-channel or more
11.1V 3S 2200~5500umA/h Li-Po Battery (bigger the better)
charger for batteries.

Please can you recommend me what exactly i should buy ???

this is for beginning , in the future i will put a gimbal and FPV feature ....

Best will be, for me, to buy them NOT from Chinese sites..
eBay.co.uk will be perfect... or some reliable UK site...

Sorry for my English but EN is not my first language...

Hi mate welcome your be able to get every thing off hobby king site it will be cheaper I am in the uk too , where it says get a 3512 motor this is can size 35mm x 12 mm the important part is the KV and mount hole size it comes with the motors so we dont need to worry about them , how much do you want to spend

Hello, and thank you for reply.... My budget is 200-250-300£ but I want a reliable and most compatible setup...
The motors should have 930 kV, with M3 screw size and space between them should be 16mm and 19mm...
What im unsure is flight controller and transmitter, receiver... And my stock properrels they break pretty often for other users so some solid though properrels as well...
The battery, charger, gimbal I can order anytime it is not rocket science...
The ESCs maybe could be better... I don't want crash my drone anywhere....
Thank you for reply and help...

Ok we can do this a part at a time it has 10x3.8 props your be much better off with 10x4.5 or 10x4.7 ( first number is length in inches so 10 inch the next 2 numbers are pitch so 3.8 degs ), as for ESC go for a 30 amp pay a little more for these and get them from proflight uk on e bay get a set of 4 and they are simonk flashed will make the quad fly very smooth
these are the cheap ones

if you can fly and not crash then these are much better the cheap ones snap due to stress these are £10.99

thank you very much...
The props what you recommended me i would take the carbon, more expensive ones but i am unsure of the size... I have 10 x 3.8 but on ebay they are out of stock... what is the influence of the bigger/smaller pitch on props at the flight ???

I will take these ESCs:
ProFlight-UK 30A ESC SimonK *X4 Pack Quadcopter Quad Copter Excels Turnigy Plush
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ProFlight...118?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27cefdc90e

The FCB or Flight control board are good BUT... I think about that FCB and I am unsure...
I am deciding between
MultiWii PRO Flight Controller w/MTK GPS Module
KK 2.1.5
CRIUS All IN ONE PRO Flight Controller V2.0
Naze 32 Full
Brain FPV

I want from FCB:
Gyro stabilisation
Self leveling
care free
altitude hold
position hold
return home
waypoint navigation
Battery indicator/meter
clean accesible GUI to set it up (i have android tablet)
FPV OSD
gimbal servo controll

The transmitter will be new one (I rather pay more for new one under warranty than save 20 pound for used...):
Spektrum DX6i DSMX 2.4Ghz Boxed New Transmitter Mode 2 SPM6610E Best UK Warranty
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spektrum-...342?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item339c88d966

The same with the reciever:
Spektrum AR610 6 Channel DSMX Receiver SPMAR610 New + UK Warranty UK Seller
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spektrum-...R610-New-UK-Warranty-UK-Seller-/321674729853?

NOW the most important thing the Brushless motors...
and Battery with charger.. i think about 5000mAh will be enough...

I think that KK 2.1.5 will be perfect for me for the beginning and later on when I learn how to fly I will upgrade it for something else with GPS etc..

So the FCB I'm gonna buy is :
Hobbyking KK2.1.5 Multi-rotor LCD Flight Control Board With 6050MPU And Atmel 644
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...th_6050MPU_And_Atmel_644PA_UK_Warehouse_.html

With
USBasp AVR Programming Device for ATMEL proccessors
http://www.tjshobbies.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=527&osCsid=hb999jm6li8h2unilleqq0t667

So now the motors, batteries and charger...

Hi mate that good to start with the kk then save up for the Naza M full has GPS will do every thing you want , if your getting a 5000 mah battery then your need a 80w min charger, I did say get 10x4.7 carbon props this will give you loads of lift and the motors will spot on with the motors on the frame, if your not using the frame you said you were then let me know I will help you find motors
Now I think you can go 3 or 4 cell, 4 cell is always better so I will link them for you

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...25A_Power_Supply_100v_120v_UK_Warehouse_.html

Tiger motors are the best not cheap but if you go for these you can get lower profile prop , T style props , if these are to pricey look at DYS/E MAX/ AGM/ SUNNYSKY they are all good motors but make sure they will fit the frame

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__24817__Bumblebee_Brushless_Motor.html

This is the type of Motor what i need but i`d like to something similar compatible and more powerfull OR i will take THIS motors BUT with COMPATIBLE PROPELLERS, Best carbon, durable... Because the Stock propellers are crap....

And one question, the Battery 4S is backward compatible with 3S motors ??

- Screw: M3.00mm
- Installation dimensions: 16mm and 19mm

Hi mate not all 3 cell motors will work on 4 cell they can get hot these motors will run a 10x4.7 prop, , Why are you looking at these is it cost there are better out there what about these
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._Brushless_Multirotor_Motor_Built_by_DYS.html
I'm not looking for SPECIFICALLY these, all what i saying is THIS is the STOCK motors for my frame and I NEED SIMILAR COMPATIBLE with screws the same and the Installation dimensions (16mm and 19mm) OR some ADAPTER frame for the motors for my frame to be able to put them on it....

Thank you.. I have bought the parts, now i need to wait for delivery. By the way, what is the very good but not expensive FPV system (camera, transmitter, receiver, goggles with battery ???) because I really dont want to buy a fatshark for 200 without camera and transmitter..... I need some cheap solution for FPV...
And there on the internet exists some calculator what can calculate the weight what my future drone can safely carry???
Thank you again.

that's not a bad price for that fpv kit, I might have to have a look.

I'm just taking baby steps in aerial videography and find it quite hard to keep the target in shot flying l.o.s - usually fly over the top of it with the target cut off at the bottom of the frame, and that's with the camera at full wide-angle with lots of props-in-shot. Guess it would be much easier to compose the picture using fpv.

(I'm also finding i'm flying too fast for nice videos still - especially on the yaw, some of those pans are quite sick-making !)
