if this doesn't work i think i might just return my parts and build an rc plane instead 'cause i already have a working Proof of concept for one.

You are close to getting it to work. Just go into reciever test and hake sure it is reconising when you move the sticks, and that they are going the correct direction. Sometimes throttle needs to be reversed. Also something that gets all new KK owners is that you HAVE to turn on your transmitter before you power the quad.

Actually 1.8 has more than 1.9

Both of those are basically obsolete. 1.8 is from 12-12-2013 and 1.9 is from 12-22-2013. Things have changed dramatically with V1.19s1 pro, the latest and most feature rich version.
