Got it all put together it arms, powers on all motors at the same time when armed. Throttle up, it flips, as fact touch any stick, it flips.
The motors all turn the way they should, props on and tight in the right direction.
Tried calibration or esc, and Im at a loss first build in all! The only thing I did differently than shown in other builds was turn the matec xt60 to the left befor I connected the escs to it. So it’s on the left of the quad not the right. The Naze 32 is facing the right direction with the arrow pointing forward.
If you take the props of the throttle up works till you get way up and the motors sputter an idle down.
Pitch and Roll real hard at random direction same on the yaw?
Would much appreciate the help.
Wife would shoot if I buy any more parts for what was supposed to be a hundred dollar build.
 
What FC software are you running?

Also make sure you have selected the correct channel mapping. AETR.

Can’t change settings in cleanflight to any of the dshot defaults to brushless. Will set on multishot, dose nothing on brushless. Flips on takeoff on multishot.
Are the Naze 32 rev6 dof fc compatable with dshot?
 
Naze32, I h8 them. No blheli passthrough unless newer boards have it now. Crap gyro. Do yourself a favour & nvr buy f1 again. Can get f3-f4 for same price.
 
So you got no blheli passthrough to see what's on the esc's. So all you can do with them is calibrate in cleanflight.
With an ftdi chip you could do esc's one @ a time, but you would have to desolder from the fcb. Then recalibrate after all 4 are done.

I think I read somewhere that they are not, guess I’ll get some new esc!
 
Recommend fc boards to use with the dshot blheli s? All I need is the fc I hope! This is frustrating, the camera works and the Fpv goggles are collecting dust. I’m ready to tear up the sky! Lol
 
A cloned, omnibus F4 betaflight 3.2.
Or F3. Both under £16 on ebay.
With osd, & blheli passthrough.
I got a full board & a micro 20x20mm.
Just as good as each other.

The esc's you have maybe capable but not necessarily have Dshot on them.
So try each one. EZ PZ if you had passthrough. Like I said no passthrough the only other way to program an esc is through an ftdi chip or Arduino nano.

Done did, everything works now that I put the PDB back in its original position and got the new FC soldered in.
Was out flying it this morning and man it’s pretty quick for a 3s.

That is not completely true. I was able to get Blheli connect to my ESCs through the Naze32. I had to flash the FC with older firmware in order to have Blheli to work.
 
Never used to I went through 7 of them.
Maybe the newer clones has it now.
With that many out there, how to know which is old stick.
 
I know the rev5 has passthrough.
@ the time I couldn't get hold of any.
But what I do know for sure is the gyro is crap. Naze32 well all F1 boards are unsupported now. Riddance :mad:
