Help, in need or reassurance:)

Hi, I’m REALLY interested in building my own quad.
I’ll admit all the numbers and abbreviations are intimidating and I understand most of it (by understand I mean I know what the abbreviations stand for) .what I need help is understanding what’s parts are compatible with each other.
how do I make sense of all the parts that are out there?
is there any websites,blogs or videos that will serve as a great introduction to building a quad? Something that’s really informative.
So far I’m in love with this hobby and building my own quad excites me but admittedly I’m a bit intimidated.
Was it as intimidating to some of you guys that understand it well now?
 
Hi welcome to the forum . You need to work out what you want it to do just fun fly or racing , acro etc
Painless360 and rcmodlereviews both on you tube are good
Then get a possible parts list ready then pop the list on here the guys will tell you if it will work or not or what's better also keep in mind how much you want to spend, lot of us use ecalc.com to work out if a quad will fly and for how long , ask all the questions you want were here to help
