Help, i made a fire

hey guys, today i attempted to re-solder an LED wire back on...when I plugged the battery in it started smoking and flamed up a lil bit...have I recked something and what do I do now? Will everything be fine if I just leave it and don't have the LED?

Yah so maybe not obvious but carbon fiber is conductive and so you need or have some tape or other insulation between it and any PCBs that are being mounted on there. Regarding the short, whatever voltage regulator was supplying power to that component maybe fried so depends on what else uses that regulated power if it'll be an issue.
