Help! Dromida Ominus FPV Quadcopter with android tablet?

Hey, I recently got one of these and it works great.

I have used the FPV system on a friends android phone, but could not get it working in my android tablet.

I am wondering if anyone knows if they even work with tablets. I can find no documentation on this on their site, although the box just says "android device" so you would think they would.

Has anyone had or heard of one of these working with a android tablet. maybe its just my tablet that it wont work with(it is a few years old)

Any info appreciated. Thanks!
 
There are many versions of the Android OS.

The 'few years old' is the key. If you can check the version on your tablet vs. your friend's phone he is probably running a newer and compatible version. Many of the cheap tablets sold at Walmart are using older versions, which prevents them from loading many of the newer apps.

Sorry for not being clear.

The app installs on the tablet just fine as well.
But when its time to "add camera" in the app it always fails to connect.

Nevertheless the OS is a good point. I don't have the items in question with me at the moment, but will see if the
OS on the tablet is different from the phone as soon as I do.

Any other thoughts in the meantime?
