help deciding bebop or dji phantom 2 vision+

So I have had the ar drone for a couple years.
I thought I would upgrade to the bebop with skycontroller.
longer range , better camera, digital gimble effect, and better controller w/joystick.

but the more I read, the more I worried. not very good reviews. from the build being cheap to haveing many bugs , short battery life and control issues. But I think those were associated with unnits w/o skycontroller???

anyway, for that money I found the dji phantom 2 vision+.

seems like an all round better drone. But what is scareing me about these is the potential $$ associated with damage to the gimble/camera

I would appreciate all comments, pros and cons for each.
what would you buy and why

Hi mate I am a Phantom fan, its one of the best the rest clone it as its one of the best, my wife has the Phantom 1 and has never let us down, even in strong wind the fail safe landed it 1 foot away cant ask for more , unless I am mistaken parrot makes blue tooth phone sets, and now jumped into quads ( may be as they are a money maker) the camera or gimbal can get damaged in a crash on any quad , the only way to cut down on the odds is get a spreading wings if a motor fails it still flys , but saying that never had a phantom motor fail yet , and they fly easy thats why they sell well

Thats a badass drone. But its out of my price range.
the parrot bebop doesnt have a gimble. It achieves the effect by digitally cropping.
would still be an improvement over the ar 2.o drone. And cost of replacement camera is obly $150.
But it cost as much as the phantom. Only concern is cost of repaids.
seems the ohantom vision 2 + is the better of the two

Got my Phantom 3 Standard yesterday and it is unbelievable. Very easy to fly and very stable. Had to beg, borrow, and steal to get it but....Hats off to SO for ok'ing it. Good buy for $499.00
BTW have gotten 32+mph out of it so far.
