Help building my first quad/hex copter

Oh really? Ok im going to order the transmitters then. I also know i can upgrade their range and have seen some tutorials on that. Have you done that to your transmitters?

Not yet, which one did you get, you can't always upgrade the transmitters.

By a week I mean before they ship it to you. Not before it gets to you, that takes the regular time.

I backordered the turnigy 9x. no problem for me I guess. how longdo you think till it will get here? 3 weeks? 4? ill probably have the quad almost build by then lol I wont be able to complete because of the motors needing tuning and testing unless there is an alternative?

That sucks lol i was hoping of getting them before. By the way, do you know where i can find height, length and width of the dji inspire or something close in size? What lipo charger do you recommend for charging multiple lipos (2+) or is there only single chargers? I have can spend about 10-40 for a good charger or charger kit

Here is a fairly nice charger. Here are more, you probably can find one that will do what you need a little cheaper.

@GJH105775 amen to that brother. ive had my fair share of a Chinese products mishaps lol. im trying to buy from sky rc but there is no option

those links will come in handy

That is for LED strips, if you are using it for lighting yes, but if your thinking about ESCs, it is too small and will burn up under load. Re-Post the links to your ESCs and motors, just to make sure?

Here are some motors
Here is a 30a ESC
Here is a 4S 3000 mah zippy LiPo

You mentions LRS. I was thinkiing about biying the turnigy x pro instead as it only cost like 40$ more and getting it sooner. But it says it comes with no module which is a drawback but i guess the control is great for having 24 ch

Those three parts will all work together just fine.

If you got that Tx you'd have to buy the module (really cheap), a receiver, and a battery. But it would be well worth it and later you could upgrade a lot of things if you wanted to.

@holtneil thanks for the links
@GJH105775

what do you guys think of this one, it supposedly comes with module and receiver. but under the included section it says:

"*Please take note of the Rx and Tx versions. V1 and V2 are not compatible."<- that doesn't indicate the turnigy 9x pro right? It might be the lack of sleep that's making me see things incorrectly.

will this be compatible with the transmitter im buying? or is there a frsky module that can do it better for a similar price?

I also noticed that people upgraded the antennae on their quads. one question I have is, should I change the stock antennae on the transmitter? and Ive seen quads with antennaes like this one

Hi Rubber ducks are ok but clover leaf work so much better if doing FPV this is the antenna you see the receiver will be a normal wire at a set lengh for the 2.4g
As for module go for the one I listed or the ones George listed
