Hello all, new to quads, I have a Bugs 2 on order, and already have a Syma x5sc and a little F36 to play with.

Thank you, maybe I can ask a newbie question When I get my Bugs 2 I want to fly it from a hill I have many years ago flown slope soarers from. The question is can I fly it below the take-off point without the altitude hold and GPS getting confused?

Yes, not a problem. The takeoff point is only recorded upon arming in order for your Bugsy to find it's way home when RTH is activated and won't affect the performance. The only confusing thing will be your elevation showing as a negative number in your OSD
