helical and cloverleaf antenna on receiver

Hey!

Im currently working on my senior design project regarding an autonomous drones that can tract and detect a ground vehicle. it is on an open field that is about 400 by 300 ft. we plan on using a set of Aomway 5.8GHz FPV 4 Leaf Clover and 2 Aomway 11dbi 7 Turn 5.8GHz Helical Antenna, total of 4

Transmitter: 1 cloverleaf
Receiver: 1 cloverleaf and 2 helical

from browsing various forums, it looks like i would need a diversity receiver in order to accommodate our setup? is there anything else i would need from an antenna standpoint?

i appreciate any input
thanks!

What rx do you have on the groundstation.?
I have an immersion duo v4 diversity rx
& I use clover & the patch,
Made my own helical but they where not very good, worked but the cone of reception was too narrow.
Like flying down an invisible tube.
Great range but not wide enough.
Are you using a 180° array with 3 aerials.
If so I would suggest 3 patches for that space. I only use clovers if I'm gonna be flying behind myself.
Otherwise I use helical or patch for straight out & back runs.
I started this hobby with quads but recently got into wings with having an abundance of spares. So spent alot of time on a different forum as not much help on here with planes. So now I flip flop or go out with both. I like to end a session Los with a wing. Winter here now so I'll be on the forums a lot more.
