Heli Radio over Airplane Radio?

Ok guys please help I have a friend that's willing to sell me a brand new in the box Futaba T14SGA. But Its the airplane version not the heli one. What's the difference?
 
Hi mate the heli one will have ccpm which is throttle pitch mixing ,if your never going to fly a heli then a plane transmitter will be ok for a quad, I have a dx9 due to the fact i fly scale helis as well as quads
