GPS??

Ok, now I have some specific hardware I can re-ask this question properly:
-Receiver: FLYSKY-FSR9B
-Transmitter:FLYSKY-TH9X-upgraded
-CC3D & OpenPilot

Ok , so based on the above...what is the BEST and LEAST EXPENSIVE GPS System?????
(aka: best bang for the buck)

(if you could reference it to something on EBay or Banggood that would be appreciated, as I can get free shipping. Being Canadian, shipping from USA based sources is a killer)

Reviews are not good. Plus, from what I can gather CC3D will support GPS but not to control your quad, it just provides signal to OSD providing longitude/latitude.

All the CC3D's state that they support GPS through either the main or flexi-port. I just can't see how an under $20 module could give you flight stabilization, return to home, etc. which I/m assuming the OP is looking for

It seems as tho renovater seems to be correct...I have gleaned that the module only gives Lat and Long feedback ONLY not auto-pilot functions like return to home, etc...and CC3D SHOULD be considered a module for racing only...not useful for a camera platform...which is what Im building.

Guess Ill keep the basic controller for a racer, and replace the whole thing for this specific unit.

So, considering my receiver...what is the best package for controller and GPS system...starting right from scratch?????

(ahem...considering price and EBay/BangGood availability...my standard requirements)

and what about naze 32...with something like cleanflight

(the question mark doesnt work on my computer)

I went with multiwii pro ez3 from readytofly quads. It seems to be the best bang for the buck. I'm still in the process of collecting all the bits and pieces but I'm pretty sure it will be a good aerial photography platform when it's all done.

The CC3D Revo (full 10DOF) can do all that, with the addition of a GPS module. Which is why I asked which one.

px4lite with neo8 gps ,, very cheap at banggood - with options to do a lot more than just gps,,

many, many failsafes can be enabled to protect your camera gear and equipment as standard as well

http://www.banggood.com/PX4-Pixhawk...r-Combo-with-NEO-M8N-GPS-PPM-PM-p-993850.html

also has telemetry hook up to control drone as well (fly drone on missions, from a mobile phone, laptop in the field, all without transmiiter turned on as well) ,,

I have this set up and it works great..
