GPS

Can anyone help me with this? I have a S500 built , almost ready to fly (waiting for new motors). I would dearly like to fit GPS, RTH, Hold position, but I'm not sure what I need or where to obtain it.
Regards,
John.

Hi again, John. Here is one site to check out;
http://blog.oscarliang.net/best-flight-controller-quad-hex-copter/
There are many others as well, but this will give you an idea of features available. Allow me to offer MY opinion:
http://www.cnchelicopter.com/xaicraft-minix-package-a-minix-flight-controller-gps-plus-osd/

This little baby has everything and some of the best quality sensors in the business. So very easy to set up. You will be flying within 5 minutes of installation. As close to plug and play as possible. It has everything except autopilot and you don't need a degree in computer sciences. Exceptional little controller. Perfect for video and FPV. Although not designed for competitive racing it is very agile in manual mode. I rest my case........
You should look around some. There are a lot of options out there. Google : Quadcopter flight controllers. Lots of info

Thanks again, I'll have a good look

Tarot ZYX-M
DJI Naza Lite
DJI Naza V2

These are all very easy to setup too. (The best bang for the cash is the Tarot - about $125.00)

The video I posted in your other thread was a Naza v2. I have read the minix is good too, but I don't have any experience with them.

Here is a ZYX-M that I had mounted on my hex not too long ago.
