Have anyone found any good drone books which can recommend?
Your question needs to be a bit more specific. "Drones" are typically used to drop bombs - fire missiles or carry out surveillance missions - by the military.
"Drones" has become street speak for what started life a multi-rotor used to carry camera's typically in the movie industry and other commercial uses.
To narrow it down -China was busy making fixed wing RC aircraft and Helicopters....then DJI started a mass interest for the "hobbyist" when it scaled down its commercial side and offered - probably - the first 4 rotor machine under $500. Then because China is wilder than the old wild west when it comes to copyright and suddenly the world is inundated with plastic c__p wizzing about and started their live as "Quadcopters".... not drones! I doubt we will ever get the USA to change over to "Quadcopters" "Drones crashed into Obama's bath tub" sounds more dramatic that " a small plastic toy with four propellers suddenly fell to ground almost 4 miles from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue's bathroom"!
Books are really helpful and can be with you all the time as a reference. - Also, if you want to learn more than just ordering and hoping you get something that works from China - then spare a few hours every day or week to spend on YouTube vids.
Quadcopter 101, does great reviews and how to fly quads in his blog, rcmodelreviews, seems a bit eccentric at times - BUT is a great educator if you want to get to know how this stuff is assembled and how it works - as is 360Painless - another great educator with an easy to understand manner of explanation and demonstration.
If you want something easy to fly and stable... get a DJI Phantom. 25 minutes of battery... so you can send up to -under 400ft - and have a 20 minute nap and when the battery warning is given... it will just land itself.... if you set up to do that!
If you want to know about how it works and building from a collection of bought in parts - this forum is not short of some real knowledgeable guys ready to help anybody who asks.
So if you perhaps share your thoughts on which direction you want to go or how to do what you want to try and build etc,.
I am sure you will find many folk only too happy to pass on any knowledge they have.
