FPV Fatshark Help Needed!

Hi there, I'll try and keep things simple.

I bought a Fatshark Teleporter V3 RTF kit, and recently broke the Fatshark VTX.
(Snapped the SMA Antenna port off of the circuit board badly enough to not be able to re-solder it)
So I bought a 25mW micro VTX and have wired it in as I saw fit.

My power distribution board is integrated into the Diatone Blade 250 Frame, which has a Vout 5V +- built in. The camera spec shows it operates at 5V so I am powering it from the built in PDB's Vout 5V (Camera Red and Black wires) with the Video signal (Camera White wire) straight into the new VTX. The VTX is then powered from the normal distribution board, as the specs for the VTX says it can operate between 6V - 30V. Everything works as it should with a crisp clear picture in the goggles, until I arm the quadcopter and then my video feed goes blank in the headset. There is a red light on the camera that turns on when it is powered up... when the quad is armed, the red light is still on but yet there is no video feed.

My battery is a 2200mah 3S 35C, I have 3 of them and have tried all 3 with no different result.

Is this a compatibility issue between the Fatshark camera and the new VTX? Should I be using the Fatshark 2S-4S power filter too? Is the Fatshark camera not getting enough power? Is my battery discharge rate too low to power all the parts?

Any ideas at this stage are welcome!

Power the vtx from the pdb where the battery connects so that it get all available voltage from the battery. (It is not rated for less than 6volts)

I am guessing that once you arm there is not enough voltage to keep it alive.

Although that is what I have done, it is only the positive and negative from the camera itself that have the 5v supply. The VTX takes the full power of the battery from the regular PDB.
I'm thinking that the camera may not have a clean 5V supply of power, or that my battery is not a high enough rating to power all the equipment. Is that likely?

Not likely. You are talking about simply ARMing, not even flying?

The original set up was a complete fatshark system.
Battery -> Fatshark Balance Power Filter -> Fatshark 250mW VTX -> Fatshark Pilot HD V2 Camera
Edit: I see your question now, the Camera was powered by the VTX. But as my VTX is different, and does not have a Power Output, I found out through the camera's spec sheet that its own input voltage is 5V, hence hardwiring it to the 5V PDB

I have not tried this yet, I have currently completely disassembled the quad to re-solder the connections, making sure everything is perfect.
I'll solder the XT60 back on tonight so that I can test the PDB's voltage.

The quad will fly like normal, but it has to be from sight. If I put the goggles on, as soon as the radio arms the flight controller the video feed dies.
