FPV cam showing Black and White..

Ive done some reading, and i think my problem is my camera will not switch out from PAL mode. (http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-Falcon-250-13-CMOS-700TVL-110-Degree-FPV-Camera-p-1040713.html)

Ive tried to boot up multiple times with switch in NTSC mode, but the OSD shows PAL. Heres a boot up screen pic

I have also tried to change the resolution on page 7/9 between Pal and Ntsc:

When i switch from PAL to NTSC, all that happens is the text disappears:

Thats all i get until i press right again to set back to pal.. any ideas??
 
Hi mate message banggood send a link to a video showing the problem .they may replace the camera
A quick check this is the fpv transmitter set to NTSC if this is pal then your need to change this as well to get camera on NTSC
 
thanks for the reply! i may have to send a video link to banggood. I did not see anything that i was able to "manipulate" on the vtx, other than the single button switch that changes the channels.
 
... If you've got a good picture then the screen and cam must both be on the same settings. (regardless of indications)
The VTX doesn't care which is selected, because it's just converting the cam's signals to an RF stream.
Whether or not it's actually PAL or NTSC doesn't matter much for FPV uses as long as you've got a good picture.
